On the 7th of September, which is the third day of the “Windsurfing at the National Stadium” event, a wakeboarding competition will be held – The King of the Stadium. Competitors taking part in it are the best riders in Europe, including representatives of the Sesitec and UNIT Parktech teams. Additionally, there will be two spots reserved for riders chosen in the open qualifiers.
8 competitors will be fighting for the King of the Stadium title, as well as a 2 000 euro prize. To be able to compete with world class wakeboarders in the King of the Stadium competition, you must win the open qualifiers held at the Warsaw Wake Academy in Port Czerniakowski on the 30th-31st of August. Anyone can try out, the organizers welcome riders from Wake Parks all over Poland. There will also be competitors from abroad, which have already announced their participation. The finals, during which 2 riders will be chosen and given the right to compete at the National Stadium, will be held on August 31st.
“As the organizers, we guarantee the participation in the main event of at least one Polish rider. This guarantee is a wild card, which will be granted to the Pole with the highest score obtained in the open qualifiers at the Warsaw Wake Academy” – ensures Piotr Ławniczak, the Sesitec representative in Poland.
